  • Is an amphitheatre of Augustan age dating back to 27-14 BC approximately. Very large ones (126.8 x 94.5 meters) kept very well, thanks to a recent renovation. Is located in a suburban area of Lucera. Housed up to 18,000 spectators who attended gymnastic performances, gladiator fights and, perhaps, a naumachia.

  • Nice, one of the most representative of Lucera, you can't miss it even though there is still much to be valued.
