  • The amphitheater is located in the periphery of the colony of lucera. Dedicated to Caesar Augustus is an important testimony of the past glory of the city of lucera. The entrance is free of charge and should require the combined ticket including the Castle and the town museum. A conversion of the cultural center would allow an added value for the community and for tourism. More revenue to allocate partly to the recovery of archaeological site.

  • It's a beautiful well preserved Roman amphitheatre, a place that could do with some better inclusion within a tourist circuit

  • Great experience with two high school students as guides. It is one of the best games I've ever been to. Should be more valued
