  • Honestly it is very few remains, as there are hundreds of them in Italy, but it is worth visiting this signposting for the passion and enthusiasm with which the curator of this small but well-maintained Museum will describe the findings and will explain the history of Lucca romana. Basically it's a little lesson on archaeology on site.

  • To visit the home of the child was a reasonable: the visit lasted a couple of hours from the initial programming and a visit to the remains of the Domus with driving, among other things MS is very careful and prepared ... However I was expecting something more in terms of archaeological remains, however very interesting!

  • The "House of the child on the Dolphin" is an archaeological site in the center of Lucca discovered in 2010. Are visible walls and finds from the Roman period (1st century BC), Lombard, medieval and Renaissance, with friezes and original objects. In one room you can admire the evolution of building techniques in 2000 years of the history of the city were excavated typical objects of everyday life and some votive font. Among the most valuable a Sestertius issued in 14 a.d. by Emperor Tiberius and a bronze Fibula of the Augustan age. Very significant terracotta frieze from which it takes its name from the Domus depicting two Cupids riding Delfini.Do 4 points not because the site is comparable to others of different importance, but because it is to appreciate the effort and commitment of those who have dedicated and devoted himself to this site

  • Despite being a very small structure, is wonderfully narrated and edited. Very little remains, however the whole thing is interesting because it is designed with extreme care. Great ticket price, and the sestertius of reproduction is a reminder not to buy!
