Valbona Castle Reviews

We visited the Valbona castle with the support of a competent volunteer guide. His name is Mirella that go our thanks for the enjoyable tour even within the halls. The halls can be visited are currently two because one is closed, but the visit is agreeable. It is said, and testimonials from ghost hunters of Padua confirms, that in the castle there is the presence of an entity, what we call vulgarly ghost. This witness also exists a photo documentation of the Castle kindly shown to us by the Guide. If you want to enjoy medieval atmosphere, this is the place. Finally, it is the oldest medieval castle veneto still intact!
Siamo stati qui in una seconda domenica del mese dove svolgono nel parco del castello un mercatino. Il posto è bello, ben tenuto. The place is nice, well maintained. For the non-market worth come (SIN), we took advantage of the day to visit the castle with ghost hunters seen legends that revolve around this place ... I was hoping to see rooms decorated, special places but in reality we only filmed outside the Castle and enjoy the panorama which can be seen from above. We should certainly see ghosts but just needed a few precautions to make the ride much more intriguing since there is very little to see. Inside there is only a restaurant/pizzeria unorganized. Shame about everything because it could be used much better.

The castle was built around 1200 as discussed in 1258. Like all medieval buildings passed continuously by hand but it was destroyed, and in a few moments. Nice to visit and if you like you can also eat.
Good pizza but disorganized staff, rude, don't book hoping to have your place, if someone comes before you, you miss it. Could be better
A mix of history, nature and mystery that are worth visiting, a stone's throw from Padova and Vicenza
I visited the castle during an event organized by ghosthunter. Very interesting history of the Castle and the research done on the ' entity ' that inhabit it. Good organization of aperitif and dinner. Pleasant evening.
Very unique place. Limited menu and a little too plain for the price. Food good.
