  • The pratomagno is a place maybe slightly underestimated: it's actually very impressive, still rich in green, one feels the real Tuscan air and is suitable for those who want a little adventure both those seeking relaxation. There are walks and walks to do in summer or convenient parking for those who want to get to the cross, even in winter. Really nice view and nice panorama!

  • In the peak of Pratomagno in the middle of one of the largest Alpine meadows in the Apennines dominating the two Casentino and Valdarno. Great view

  • We started from Poppi and after about 35-40 min we reached the parking lot, several trails branch off from there, took the path to the cross after 30 min walk uphill the view and scenery are exceptional. A great plateau you don't expect in Tuscany!

  • Simply spectacular, if you want to enjoy fresh air and breathtaking views towards the Casentino Valdarno and this is the right destination. You log on to the cross through both paths around the pasturelands, both through the road that connects the last parking lot at Ridge trail. Recommended during the summer months to cool off, if you go in the fall bring clothes that can make up for that with a strong wind that sweeps from Valdarno ridge line.

  • On top over the cross there is nothing. But the walk is very nice and at the foot of the hill there is Grill place and a farm where you can light a fire. Recommended if you love to be outdoors.
