  • Lovely hinterlands of the Adriatic coast! In our turn we passed for Longiano. Small village well groomed and clean. Walking the little lives seems to be back in the middle ages. We passed a summer day in the early afternoon and met quite a few people. Definitely a stop not to let it go.

  • The castle itself can't frankly say so much in the sense that, arrived on site, I just go for a walk in the courtyard before stopping to scan the horizon from the rooftop terrace (magnificent the glance to the point that you can easily see the sea). What is striking is undoubtedly the beautiful old town develops around the Malatesta Castle. The houses are very close together and there are some typical "mini lanes" that unfold almost hiding between a building and the other. The entrance to the village is bordered by some circular doors separating it from the newer areas of the country. From the main downtown Boulevard (otherwise outside of the village and therefore already in the new part of the country, so to speak) you can appreciate a fine perspective effect that almost seems to make the Castle an upward extension of the Boulevard itself. Leaving the village finally (on the opposite side on arrival) I could admire great location the complex of the Hill on which the village and of course the Castle develop; wonderful, absolutely. Surely this is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and I definitely recommend a visit.
