  • The Archaeological Park of Locri is among the most important of the entire Magna Graecia and is very extensive. This is kind of his fault. Because, getting about in full, you have to walk a lot. While the ruins were very important, but I am sure the average visitor and poorly informed they don't say much. Beautiful though the Museum at the entrance to the Park. There are exposed, with taste and happy educational-didactic concern, the dozens of vases, jewelry, statuettes and coins from the excavations on site. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, on a Sunday in late September, my wife and I were the only visitors! Shame, such a place would deserve quite another warning! Perhaps it will only be a matter of information and promotion. However, the Museum is not lower than that of Reggio. Is saying something ...

  • Discover their roots Strolling among the ruins of the ancient city. Suggestive thinking that thousands of years ago our ancestors lived on that land! A museum typically 1970s organized and exciting. Ideal for children. Walking through the ruins and new crops of citrus has the sense of a discovery of contemporaneity between the old and new modus vivendi. Entering into the merits of the archaeological finds were remains somewhat bare, it would have been nice to see the entire amphitheatre for example. But the scenery is equally impressive. Some parts are still being restored so ad maiora. A Calabria to discover and love. Congratulations to those who believe in it passionately and runs the Museum.

  • We could get opened the Casino M: an absolute wonder. The staff was perfect: really cares about making good at their job. To be perfect, should be all available for longer. But ... remains a priceless heritage

  • The Museum is packed with exhibits. It seems little used and also the Park is a little abandoned to weeds. May be treated a bit more. However it is one of the most beautiful archaeological parks in the region

  • Awesome venue steeped in history the Magno-Greek but who also owns a flora changeable. Has a museum full of artifacts, but sadly the excavations are mostly maintenance-free and therefore subject to weathering and also an other another element to the detriment of this place is the lack of publicity if it were instead made correctly would start a recovery from the economic point of view of the place that would lead to the investment of funds for the conservation of the Archaeological Park.
