  • The Modigliani house was closed. From what I gather it's a new museum in the process of just being created so I didn't expect much, but it would be nice to see it anyway.  more »
  • Historic and very informative. Plenty of photos. Intimate. Don't expect original paintings...they are in museums and collections.  more »
  • Unique place unfortunately unknown to most people. Close to the City Centre (near piazza Attias) the head is a great person and well prepared real passionate about the painter who will provide you with any information about him. Definitely worth a visit. You will be given a booklet on "path" Modigliani you can follow into town. Cost €5.50 open daily at mattino.ps the House is preserved in original form floors including:) see photo

  • There is little or nothing to see, the only things originals are the floors and the fixtures but the guide is very prepared and through a series of photographs and prints tells through tasty anecdotes the short but intense life of the artist and his family. Visit interesting for fans. Some difficulty in getting an appointment.

  • Technically it is the House where he was born, but he remained very little. On the walls you can admire many reproductions but there's not even an original painting. There is a small gallery of authors who have done their homage to the genius of Modi.

  • The original home of the family Modigliani in terms of structure: floors, walls, fixtures and kitchen sink; furniture reconstructed from historical photos. Excellent visit, pleasant and precise in describing the girlhood of Modigliani, her family and the bourgeois environment livornese time. Entrance fee: 5 euros.

  • Interesting place and good explanations. Can only be reached through an antique scale a little steep
