Categories: Zoos & Aquariums, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
2.8/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web
The shark tank is the biggest draw at Livorno's Acquario di Livorno, an aquarium that houses local species of fish, as well as varieties collected from other waters. In addition to sleek predators, you can also see more docile creatures, such as the sea turtle. This port city's aquarium was designed to educate the public about the plight of marine animals. Take a guided tour to learn how the aquarium works to conserve species and replenish the ocean. • I have just been to the Aquarium after reading reviews. To let me intrigue were precisely the negative reviews that just can't seem to understand and justify. The Aquarium is well maintained and clean, sometimes suggestive environments and baths well catered for. Wonderful fish and especially vivi, in every sense. I expected at least the dirty bathrooms but even there I changed my mind. The only criticism I condone is the one relating to the price because in fact the path is short and not worth 14 euros per adult.

  • A trip that appealed especially to children, the colorful fish, the breed, the sharks, and then even the iguana.

  • With a child of 5 years was perfect, the Aquariums are too large then you get tired children, instead this is just fit for children we shot everything in an hour.

  • It's a little bit too expensive for what you get. And it could be a little bit more cleaner and in better conditions.
  • Not bad. Not as many fish as one would expect from an aquarium. But it's a good 20 min trip all around.
  • A place definitely worth visiting - watching the sharks and actually touching the rays is an experience that not only kids will remember.
  • I find it very nice, I've visited 5-6 times since its reopening in 2010, sometimes alone, others with relatives. Currently the new zebra shark and green iguana on the first floor, where there is a display of exotic insects, amphibians and reptiles. Nice to also review the many usual Mediterranean and tropical marine species. Much information in explanatory panels. Worth, at an extra charge of 4 euro, also make the path behind the scenes, to see things with a biologist prepared giving many explanations.

  • The visit to the Aquarium is definitely a nice experience for kids and can be enjoyable for adults too, but I don't think the price is commensurate with the offer. In the face of higher spending, certainly, but with a value much cheaper you can visit the Aquarium, much larger, or a theme park with Aquarium, reptile Park and petting zoo as Leolandia. The duration of the visit is overestimated, with a small child will not get you an hour and a half. I also noticed other small distortions, as some tanks screens and mobile inside is not working.
