  • We stayed a week in the Aeolian Islands, mainly in Lipari. One day, not knowing what to do, we went to visit this museum. I, personally, I was not expecting anything of that, I have changed my mind! There are some very interesting findings of the baths of San Calogero and more! There is also a Museum of the history of the Aeolian Islands, very interesting, and the thing that I was very pleased that the management is composed of volunteers who know much of the history of the place and which make the tour very interesting. They are great people who have even welcomed two stray kittens! They were called Alicudi and Filicudi. Admission is free and you can leave offerings. I highly recommend visiting this place, which is worth a lot!

  • A la Museum on the site of the former Roman baths or saunas. Preserved postorojki, but mostly destroyed. Show interesting as it was thousands of years ago.

  • A young lady brought us free of charge competently and friendly - we were the only visitors - through the very interesting rooms on the ground floor. Also the warm source clarified. In the upper rooms, we could meet the extremely poor working conditions at the pumice stone extraction in film and photo.
