  • A visit to the parish of Santa Maria Regina Pacis is a must on every pass in Ostia, her modern style frescoes reflect a different light and lead to inner reflection. Definitely a place of prayer and intimacy with the creator.

  • Very nice Church inside affects the brightness. Outside it affects the State of abandonment of nearby gardens on the sides of the steps. Holy masses are followed by citizens but in my personal opinion should be more cantatas and engaging for kids.

  • Situated in an elevated position, on a hill, and its façade is deliberately turned towards the sea to indicate symbolically the embrace of the Queen of peace to the whole world. The Church has a Latin cross with a single nave and side chapels, dominated by an octagonal cupola surmounted by a small lantern with cross, which reaches a height of 42 metres. The last weekend of September is celebrated the patronal feast and all around the Church the streets are closed to traffic and filled with stalls of various kinds, especially sweets, to the delight of children and adults.

  • Saint Peter's basilica style, on a smaller scale. Inside the Church is large and welcoming. Don't expect works of art because you won't find. The walls near the altar back in the late 80 's religious drawings naïve style. I think it's been covered. Around there are small gardens to the courtyard, a school, a chapel, an abandoned soccer field. Belong to the Regina Pacis Nino Manfredi Theatre (former cinema puppy) boy scout camp, Bowling Club and the starfish field

  • 5 stars because it's Church and mother, 0 stars for some priests that you see around with luxury cars. P.s. but holy water where it ended up in this church?
