  • We took a train from Monterosso to Levanto and there took the path from Levanto to Monterosso. It's a physical one with steep up hills and down hills. Count 3 hours if in fair physical condition. Don'...  more »
  • We walked the path in the opposite direction, from Monterosso Levanto. Actually we made a Trek longer: starting from Levanto popped in Corniglia, and from there we walked down the last two stages of the blue path-Corniglia Vernazza Monterosso and Vernazza//-then go along the road to Levanto. The entire path we could do in a day and calmly, starting by mid-morning, and whereas this season the sun sets at around 17. The stretch from Monterosso Levanto along smoothly in about 2.30 leads h, with a fairly demanding ascent in one hour leads to Punta Mesco, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the coast of Cinque Terre. The trail is very popular and therefore is kept in pristine condition, and runs through unspoilt nature. The descent, from both sides, is quite steep and in case of rain (even in the old days) can be slippery. The Council then is left for this lovely walk with the right equipment.
