  • The excursion to letters with a group of "culture and society" to visit the Castle, was very much appreciated by the participants who have followed with interest the guide that illustrated the history, the various stages of construction and function over the centuries until being converted into a private residence and then abandoned. The Castle, recently restored, is a destination for many visitors who certainly will increase more and more over the years. The visit was rewarding from the standpoint of historical-cultural and landscape, considering the immense panorama can be enjoyed from the site. A eulogy, by the group, the organization that works with enthusiasm to spread knowledge and history of the site and the city of letters. Outstanding was the welcome.

  • No, I did not write "" upper case by mistake the setting is the cornerstone of the castle of letters! Come on a nice day, maybe at sunset as the Sun dips into the Gulf behind Ischia, or dawn, early early, when the first rays of the sun set fire to the top of the front of Vesuvius and never want to leave, in addition to understand in an instant the reason which led people to live here since the Paleolithic Archaeological Park , recently restored, is worth a visit, is not immense but rather clean and if maybe nn deserves to make a thousand km to only come here, it's still a beautiful "unscheduled" the thousand km if it were done to see the inevitable Pompeii or any other attraction of this beautiful region and then here in Letters you eat and sleep well and then ...;)

  • Among our excursions Lattari Mountains we decide this Saturday to walk the paths Cai 340A for Orsano and then descend for 346 passing by the castle of letters. Arrived at the castle the custodian makes us enter with a friendly "who comes from the mountain Deserves". I must say that was eventually restored, the last time I'd been there a few years ago ... it was a ruin. Post some photos ... Well, Good at last!
