  • A unique place!! The ferry trip on its own was awesome and provided great views. There is an entrance fee to the church. I don't mind paying it, but it was a surprise because all the tourist brochures said it was free to visit. Remember to take a water bottle, it can get really hot waiting for the ferry back.
  • What a marvelous place! A small but beautiful church with lots of frescoes and such a view. It's also not expensive for Italian standards.
  • The monastry is easy accesible by stairs (5 minutes walk down, 10 up), elevator or by boat. You can take an audio tour or walk around. One or two hours is enough to see everything. The view on the lake is beautiful and it's worthwhile to take a moment to relax and enjoying the view.
  • Nice place to discover along Lago Maggiore. The visit is really quick ~30min
  • It is surprisingly nice monastery to visit. There is a lift you can use to go down. We didn't need it and was fun going down on the stairs and looking at the lake.
