  • It was a rainy day in Lecco so we decided to take the cable car up to the mountain. Bus # 5 cost 2 euro (on the bus) against Funivia P. S and stops right on the cable car. The bus ride took around 30 minutes. 9 euros for a round trip ticket costs up to the mountain. Once waited for stunning views and walks. Even in poor weather conditions. (However, it must bear in mind that bring some warmer clothes!). We decided to take a walk down to town instead of the bus, which was very nice but took quite a long time. On the other hand, saw the city from a different perspective. Very nice excursion!

  • Due to limitation of access, this area has been preserved in its natural state and establishes the appointment according to one of the most popular mountains Lecco, Resegone. All around the Piani d'erna which are actually the local mountains stretches of coastline, then relatively flat. You can get there only by a steep cable car or a walking path that takes approximately 2 hours of climbing apart from the railroad for the fit. Accessibility with the cable car (8 euro return) is maximum and decrease time to hike. In the area there are some structures (Bar Restaurant Milani and shelters 500 metres in the Markett and Locatelli in a small historical village montano), several hiking trails and nature. Ideal for families and as a starting point for hikers. The whole area in winter includes ski areas close to Milan (snow permitting) namely Piani di Bobbio-Valtorta, Artavaggio, Pian delle Betulle, Piani d'erna and Piazzatorre only for the beauty of the land.

  • Excellent starting point for hiking on the Resegone, but also to be reached with a leisurely walk together or, for the more athletic, with the ferrata that reaches the Pizzo D'erna. For those who do not want to work can take advantage of the convenient cable car. It offers a great view and a good place for a picnic or to enjoy some typical dish in shelters around.
