  • What a shame that this little Museum is so overlooked! The space is beautiful but badly lit. The collection of Greek vases-Salento is gorgeous, but besides that what little there is is not presented well: lockers turned off, missing labels, little information on artifacts ... medieval Hall was under construction but more like ' theft ' effect that ' work in progress ', although the few items there exposed were absolutely magnificent. The staff was very helpful, but you could tell they were not used to much traffic. Despite all these shortcomings, I would recommend it too.

  • The Museum was done with great care contains priceless pieces, sin is little known and especially not even advertised, we didn't even pay the entrance fee. Maintenance is not the best. Is an important part of our history and see it is a great opportunity not to be missed.

  • I returned after several years at Castromediano Museum and, alas, I came out immensely disappointed and dismayed. Accurate immediately that my judgment does not refer to the collection itself, but the way it is kept and valued, if by this you can speak. The exhibits are wonderful, and can easily compete with those visible actually well more noble in Puglia such as MArTa or Egnatia; the problem is that the environment is in a sorry state, with poor lighting and some exhibitors dusty and devoid of light bulbs. The training material and the signs are quite insufficient to illustrate the path which, for logistics, has a non-linear, nor give extensive information about the exhibits on display. The icing on the cake is the fact that throughout the Museum there was an employee, accompanied by two guys alternate school job that barely knew where they were; to our request to see the art gallery on the third floor, we were told "or I accompany you or I keep the museum open." So, after 40 minutes to visit my friends and i walked delusissimi. A great sin.

  • Very nice and interesting historical Museum, a large, modern organization of the visit and not claustrophobic, in internal structures. Visit it because it deserves ... FREE admission ... any more than that. Check it out:)

  • Excelente acervo. Lugar tranquilo.
  • in any self-respecting Museum the visitor has the right to view all the works exhibited in the Museum of lecce, are missing from the modern art section also if you know, do enough year to set up more salt we hope that you give a little to do.
