  • The building has an octagonal plan with deep chancel covered with vaulted ceilings. The walls are divided into two orders by a continuous frame serrated. The first order is crossed by Corinthian pilasters between which there are short chapels that accommodate complex altar machines. The altars, richly adorned with twisted columns inspired by angels, birds, scrolls, scrolls, wreaths and sculptures, the wooden statues of Neapolitan scope from the late 17th century depicting Saint Francis Xavier, Saint Francis of Assisi, St. Peter of Alcantara, Saint cajetan, Saint Anthony of Padua and the Immaculate. At the chapels open, in the upper register, seven large Windows from profile mixtilinear alternated with niches that House the statues of the Blessed Beatrice, Agnes, loved and Vegetables. Along the walls are opened also lattices of choirs from which the nuns participated in the celebrations. The amount of space between the various chapels is enriched by the presence of some paintings depicting Evangelical scenes and saints: assumption of the Virgin, transit of Saint Clare, the risen Christ, the Virgin and child, Saint Ignatius of Loyola. The presbytery is characterized by a monumental altar, filled with architectural elements and adorned with two spiral columns, that welcomes in the Central niche the statue of Saint Clare of Assisi. Of note is the presence of Sant'Agnese, in the sacristy, by Francesco Solimena.
