Luigi MartinaThe building has an octagonal plan with deep chancel covered with vaulted ceilings. The walls are divided into two orders by a continuous frame serrated. The first order is crossed by Corinthian pilasters between which there are short chapels that accommodate complex altar machines. The amount of space between the various chapels is enriched by the presence of some paintings depicting Evangelical scenes and saints: assumption of the Virgin, transit of Saint Clare, the risen Christ, the Virgin and child, Saint Ignatius of Loyola. The presbytery is characterized by a monumental altar, filled with architectural elements and adorned with two spiral columns, that welcomes in the Central niche the statue of Saint Clare of Assisi.
