  • a long road along the river. Suitable for both lovers of two wheels that legs. Sometimes the scenery around is not just beautiful but still be far from traffic is positive

  • Tough life for cyclists. This beautiful, well designed, easy to do was left in complete abandonment, especially in Cogorno Carasco. Floods of two years ago have left marks that no one has thought to fix. Then we have the bridge over the river Entella closed with two gates that forces you to make a detour on the dangerous and busy highway where cars whizzing (not recommended if you have children). Otherwise if you do not want to do this dare climb over the gates of the bridge at your own risk. Then the next leg in the municipality of Carasco is a succession of holes, fences torn up, weeds and rubbish. Arrived in zone Ipercoop go one section and you find yourself in front of a gate (road landslide causes flood). You can alternatively do a stretch in via Pontevecchio and get to a point where the road ends covered by a landslide. We must therefore lead to hand the bike over the landslide. The next stretch is still tired with holes, weeds, bushes and in some places the fence towards the river is missing, and therefore dangerous. We arrived to San Colombano. Besides I have no idea. It is sad to see such a nice idea has ended in this way. I met however many cyclists in my path. Too bad. There is no shortage of money. Lacking culture.
