  • There are about 40 years I frequent and I climb to the top of Mt. Semprevisa delal Lepini chain. The Summit itself per se is not beautiful because it is a part of a hilly back around 1600 meters (the top is 1636 m). The beauty is in the surroundings made of beech and oak trees and oak trees that accompany hikers from the beginning of the trails to the Summit. Excellent destination during the spring and autumn months. Hill recommended by Carpineto Romano-Acquamezzavalle-Valley of beech forest floor-Saddle of Semprevisa and top. The more I find I climb in altitude Bassianus more monotonous in the initial section of the aqueduct that takes approx 3 km. You can also combine the top m. lower Capreo and lower Capreo cross on the same day.

  • The Pontine plain a few kilometres from Latina (Bassiano) here stand a group of mountains that you can reach via a definitely ruined but accessible, even by car (recommended SUVs) up there you can encounter with wild ponies in the wild. It's definitely a nice walk that will remain in your memory

  • Now two years since we started to do Wild camping on Semprevisa and with my family we spend ten days in summer, really cool. The mountain is managed by the Association of hunters who takes care of the dirt road, picnic areas and cleaning (required because of the ignorance of many people). There are several trails for hiking, biking and downhill. The picnic areas have tables and benches with the possibility to start the fire. Access by car is only allowed with permission issued dali ass.ne based close to the City Council of Bassianus and costs € 5.00 girnaliero or € 15.00 quarterly. The only drawback is the local road, once tarred today full of holes due to the passage of trucks passed by carrying the wood.
