  • Museum well structured and great guide in the world of rural life. The Museum is perfectly suited to the canons museological and presents a significant amount of finds all well catalogued. To visit especially if you are accompanied by children.

  • It's a tiny Museum (a tiny village), which houses mostly tools used in the past by the peasants, for the job but not only. Should be seen as a memory of the peasant culture, recalling that until not long ago in many countries of the province of Viterbo (lack of industrial and mining settlements, away from major Arterials) agriculture was the only resource for living. More than for a tourist visit (unless you're of that reality) is designated for schools teaching views. The beautiful building that houses the Museum.

  • The Museum is a big word. A couple of rooms with instruments of culture donated-so they say-from an inhabitant of the area.

  • LaterA is situated in a very special location: bordered by Tuscany to the North, specifically with the municipalities of Pitigliano and Sorano and place where it ceases Highway 312 Castrense, which sharply cuts the territory of Alta Tuscia marine areas of Lazio and Tuscany, is located a few kilometers west of Lake Bolsena, inside the territory of Monti Volsini, while we can't include any beach or wet soil in your municipality. A similar situation occurs with another much smaller Lake, Lake Mezzano, really a short distance when you consider which is sometimes achieved by locals, but also not included in the territory. The village is perched on a hill spiral located on the northeastern edge of a valley of volcanic origin, surrounded by other hills higher and formed with the sinking of a huge caldera, which originated the nearby lakes. So far the subsoil laterese is characterized by volcanic activity and geothermal effusions (the Latera Caldera, proposed as a site of Community importance in 2005 [2]): the Valley, rather flat, is located south of the village and is called the flat. Is shared with the commune territory of Valentano. Characteristic, albeit only at the administrative level, is also the fraction Cantoniera, located at two roadside Castrense dei Volsini mountains overlooking Latera: the western part of the village is in fact part of Latera, while the contiguous Eastern municipality of Gradoli, much more distant. The village, which for both municipalities of the same name, is so distant houses few meters but making reference to two geographically distant 10 km. The village La Buca, adjacent to The Road, is the last village before the Tuscany.
