  • Kudos to the volunteers and volunteers who work at this facility for the commitment shown in caring for these animals that are in danger all the time life because of the incivility of the man and his lack of respect for the sea.

  • If you want to stay in contact with nature and help sea turtles, this is the place! I'm a volunteer going down to Lampedusa once a year (this for me will be the third consecutive year). I started as a joke and I found myself in a world that I can not give up. Under the guidance of the Dott.ssa Freggie Coordinating Center, we help these beautiful animals at risk of extinction. Delivered daily from 3 to 5 specimens that are delivered by fishermen for controls, hosting them at their inpatient hospital and then after due care and registration, give ourselves the freedom. It is a wonderful experience which I don't recommend only the individual tourist, but also to those who want to spend a different holiday. Lampedusa remains in the heart, but the experience of being in contact with these animals, make your mark! ❤❤❤

  • It's nice to see a place that helps animals like they do. After many visits, the place does not lose its objective: help the turtles. to those who say that it is a tool to make money I reply that I did not have to pay any entrance ticket but I voluntarily left a donation. I say also that I even would pay the entry, even just 2/3 € just to make it clear to people that all their hard work has costs. I emphasize also that volunteers inside are better informed than many others paid workers in museums and public places. Congratulations to all of you volunteers for the work you do! Let's save the turtles, save the aquatic world!!!
