  • If you are in the area during the holiday season you go to see the caves of Rescia, lakeside road that goes from Porlezza to Osteno. You will see the limestone caves with water, adorned with many glimpses of Christmas that children will love, piped Christmas music. Usually we do two laps ... one very fast because the kids want to see everything, the second one to dwell on the details. The downside is cost, a little Ott 3 € per child from 3 to 10 years, while 5 € for others, IMHO 2us for toddlers and 3.5/4 € for adults are more than adequate and maybe I'd go once more ...

  • I visited today with my family and friends the caves of Rescia. Really very nice and definitely even more striking now in Christmas spirit with decorations, lights, music and various cribs. The 7 small caves are all linked together and eventually you get in front of the waterfall. You walk quietly even though some passages are a bit tight. We took several pictures inside with children and after about 20 minutes upon exiting the two girls we were offered hot chocolate with a slice of panettone. Also recommended for its proximity to Como, Lugano and Milan.

  • Caves features of our area, set up for the Christmas, Nativity, Santa-Claus, villages, lots of colorful lights. Beautiful Christmas atmosphere, we stayed there twice in one month.

  • Short (less than 20 min), full of strange sculptures, the electrical setting seem dangerous. Difficult to park and expensive for the quality.
  • Beautiful natural caves. The preparation of Christmas makes them really lovely, also at the end of the round is offered tea, chocolate or mulled wine to warm up. During the rest of the year also organize guided tours for school classes or groups. A must see if you are nearby.

  • Small cave that over Christmas is decorated with lights and Nativity scenes. To see.

  • Inside the caves, the preparation of Christmas is kitsch and cheesy obtained with a smattering of figurines and materials of various kinds, Nativity scenes, Nativity, penguins, stars, bears, midgets, Santas, fabrics, lights lights and lucette, music etc X 50 years the modest sum of 5 euro entry, and 3 for children. Installations without meaning other than to further confuse the soul of a child visitor.

  • I regularly visit the caves for many years and I have always found fascinating, each time with a different light or an exhibition. A visit with the Guide to discover all the secrets hidden by these small but exciting caves.
