  • We are randomly during our short vacation at the Lago di Lugano on the Grotte di RESCIA became aware and have opted for a visit. We had extraordinary luck, since she currently Christmas decorated caves and thus a very special eye-catcher. The caves are loving and cared for in every detail and you realize that the operator of heart of the matter are. Apart from the Christmas atmosphere, the caves also geologically provide a great backdrop, which was presented to us during the tour. I recommend every visitor to take the lead in the claim, because there is otherwise a risk to miss many of the small details or not to understand (just so I can explain the 2 extremely negative reviews here). The caves are, of course, much smaller than the Europe-wide renowned caves in Italy, but for us, they were a particularly positive surprise at a more than reasonable price.

  • Our attention was drawn by chance from a flyer that has supported the opening of the Christmas event at Grotte di Rescia and the result is a pleasant tour! At the entrance we were greeted by the warmth of Melania guide then embark on a magical journey to a world of toys and cribs between stalactites and stalagmites. Wonderful the care with which the caves were decorated and illuminated with candles and coloured lights! Also of interest are the caves themselves, the tunnels with streams of water and the waterfall outside. At the end of the visit we were offered hot chocolate, a great mulled wine and cookies!

  • It is true are small, but they are, in my opinion, a little gem. Board the guided, even to be able to understand, in addition to the morphology and formation, the history and origins of the passion of the owning family. Very interesting and I think, quite unique, the use of caves as places of culture and art. Thanks to the passion and hospitality.
