  • Saturday, I went to visit the villa in Lainate. As indicated on the Internet should have been open from 15 at 16.30. Total absence of all personnel, chioso, open only the public park, which is open all day. From what I've seen the definition of Italy's most beautiful Park is not only excessive, it becomes downright ridiculous in context. Too bad.

  • The Villa, albeit with some organizational difficulties, that is absolutely the thinks to be seen. The nymphaeum is a gem and even greenhouses of orchids recently restored are mangnifiche.

  • Thanks to the special opening for Halloween night I had the chance to visit this site and I was amazed by the beauty of the structure. He was already a bit of time I wanted to go see it, but in the end, thanks to the idea of voluntary association that runs the hotel, open on the occasion of Halloween I decided and I discovered a marvel. First, a big thank you to all those people who devote themselves to the preservation and dissemination of knowledge about this property. Also on the occasion of Halloween have been very good and nice to find all these made up (and I must also say very well) and create very nice atmospheres. For the second thing we say that the property is located in the heart of Milan, easily reachable from the main arteries and around it's easy to find parking spaces. The entrance is located directly on a square, a very large façade with a portal through which you access the Concierge-big ticket to access a clearing bordered by a colonnade that serves as access to the main building, visiting first the rooms dating back to 1500, where one can still see the original frescoes (the renovation of the hotel took about 25 years to its complexity). She then proceeds towards the outside with the beautiful park, awarded even as Italy's most beautiful park. Then get to the good part, a huge nymphaeum, with water, covered with pebbles from the river Ticino, original stalagmite from Val Ganna. Basically a great landscape made real by the work of the most important architects and engineers of the time. In the back of the other garden water features and fountains. A discovery by reviewing calmly, perhaps in the warmer season.

  • Regarding the Ninfeamus event, I must say that it was thoroughly enjoyable to visit the grounds, the Ninfeo, the Serre Liberty and also being able to purchase items at the various stands. Dogs were also welcome (although they are not allowed into the Ninfeo). Highly recommend!
  • Palazzo e ninfeo notevoli. Parco stupendo per leggere.
  • Imperdibile
  • Bellissimo giardino merita una visita!
  • The nymphaeum is very well preserved. Water features are still the original ones, as well as the plumbing, faucets and the mechanisms that regulate water sprays. Beautiful exterior walls made of Tuff and even more internal ones decorated with black and white pebbles and sometimes colored. Our guide told us that you have not yet understood what the glue used to make mosaics. Our guide was excellent! It's definitely a villa to visit.
