Baia di San Montano, Lacco Ameno

(3.8/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
According to tradition, Santa Restituta, one of the patron saints of the island, first arrived from Africa at Baia di San Montano, a horseshoe-shaped cove. Soak up the sun on the soft sand, or enjoy a dip in the sea, which boasts especially warm temperatures due to nearby thermal springs. The beach is calm, and a safe spot for small children to enjoy the clear blue water and sandy shore. A snack bar on site provides cold drinks and refreshments. Parking and restrooms are available.   Work out when and for how long to visit Baia di San Montano and other Lacco Ameno attractions using our handy Lacco Ameno tourist route planner.

  • lovely place, ideal for families with children. the seabed is shallow, the sea is fairly clean and well spaced umbrellas. downside there are free showers and those charges are frozen!

  • An area of Ischia to visit. Gorgeous water, landscape and unique tranquility, whether in private or public beach lido, spotless. After bathing in a clear water you can safely rest in a warm but not hot due to the presence of the rocks which in places sheltered from the Sun and wind and great relaxing atmosphere. Recommended for families and couples. It is a very quiet place so for teenagers who want to play in the water or with the ball is not recommended, since the balloon at the entrance of the Bay whether you choose the beach or is seized with an appropriate name and returned when you decide to leave.
