(600+ reviews on the web)
Water Body Nature / Park
According to tradition, Santa Restituta, one of the patron saints of the island, first arrived from Africa at Baia di San Montano, a horseshoe-shaped cove. Soak up the sun on the soft sand, or enjoy a dip in the sea, which boasts especially warm temperatures due to nearby thermal springs. The beach is calm, and a safe spot for small children to enjoy the clear blue water and sandy shore. A snack bar on site provides cold drinks and refreshments. Parking and restrooms are available.   Work out when and for how long to visit Baia di San Montano and other Lacco Ameno attractions using our handy Lacco Ameno tourist route planner.

  • Wonderful beach. You can either pay for umbrella and lounger or there is a free beach section. The changing facilities and cafe and self service is very good. The best coffee in Italy!  more »
  • My kids call this beach the "Hot and Cold" beach. Not that it's at all cold but due to the springs their is really warm water at the far end of the beach. We have so much fun here every summer!  more »
