  • Getaway can't miss if you go to La Thuile. The rise in the cascades is not complicated and the torrent is very nice.

  • The hike is a little challenging, not so much for the fix, as for its duration: the whole itinerary, with only a few breaks, it takes about 3 hours for people without physical disabilities, but at the same time not experienced hikers. The panorama from the third waterfall is truly breathtaking and the roar of the water makes the experience memorable!

  • We were in early October with the good fortune to find good weather. Not knowing that the walk starting from the hamlet of La Joux we started walking from downtown La Thuile, don't do it! (it took us an extra hour of uphill to get to the beginning of the trail to the falls). From what I saw during the summer there are shuttles that take you from la Thuile in la Joux. Path impractical for wheelchairs, and very difficult for small children. It takes 20 minutes to get to the first waterfall. We managed to get to the third waterfall with a fair bit of effort for our untrained physicist, but the effort has been amply rewarded when I crossed the bridge spanning the fall of water!! By practicing with boots and a lot will! Recommended
