  • Being in La Spezia there to get a gap to dedicate to Porto Venere, which is reached by a bus line. By the way, I advise to buy tickets at a kiosk because it is made directly to the driver whether or not you charge an abusive premium. Then the place is beautiful and without the burdens of the villages of Cinque Terre. The ascent to the Church of San Pedro and the views that are observed from there are magnificent, especially if the day is clear. The rest of the village is very picturesque and boats leave from there to visit the rest of the villages in the area.

  • Beautiful small seaside town with fewer tourists than the Cinque Terra villages.
  • it's an awesome place! perfect if you want to visit a little typical italian city :) there is some place to go in the water, but there are only big stones, no sand. enjoy!
  • Porto Venere is a nice village, comparable to the 5 terre. We recommend to enjoy a nice hike. We did the hike from Riomaggiore-Portovenere, this takes about 5 hours. The view was especially breathtaking at the end of the trip.
  • Fantastic view. Just visit to see the sea
  • Historic architecture surrounded by stunning coastline. Well worth a visit.
