  • market of the historical center of la spezia with the peculiar characteristic of gathering from fresh fish, fruit, vegetables, flowers and general cargo, as well as having included even newsstand kiosks that offer 4 magazines, newspapers and souvenirs for tourists passing through. Maybe something is missing. immediate product tasting bought by the customer and baked on the premises; as in many of the characteristic covered markets across Europe.

  • Spice market square evokes my very first steps from "little break." I still remember, even though I was only three years old, the square with its multicoloured market. In the square, on the right side facing the sea, there existed an ancient roasting, Samantha, I think her name was, where a distant relative of the family of my mom was joint holder. A warehouse of the square came out often a bee with advertising of Parmesan cheese, which I think he had a kind of cheese just to draw attention to the brand. I remember I was captivated by the sight of that bee. Life took me then almost immediately out of Spice, but everytime, a ride in the square is an absolute must!

  • In the market breathes the local air of the place, among stalls offering the most varied fresh products. We bought a focaccia and a pesto that were super. Although it is not more than to walk it in 10 minutes, I recommend it!
