  • We did it with some friends a walk in La Morra through the chapel of Barolo. She's very pretty, especially in the middle of the landscape of vineyards and hills. You notice the difference between the inside (by David Tremlett) hot and curvy, and the outer square of Sol LeWitt and livelier. Too bad the sagging ruin to his left and the building opposite, are disturbing elements to the landscape. Recommended step during a walk and maybe get to the Centre of the village, which is very lively and cute, for a glass of wine.

  • In the locality of Brunate, at La Morra, the chapel of our Lady of grace (now also called Chapel of Barolo). It is a small church built at the beginning of the 900 ... in the years 90 restored and coloured by the English artist David Tremlett and from the American Sol Lewitt. The building is open on weekends and often hosts cultural events and festivals. Live is not exciting, also because it is located in the midst of other more modern buildings and a semi abandoned farmhouse ... If you find yourselves there neighbors ... worth a quick visit

  • People like me who are fortunate enough to live in a country like Albissola Marina, which is a large open air Museum of art, can only appreciate the work created by David Tremplet (internal) and Sol LeWitt (outdoor) two real legends of modern and contemporary art. Personally I think the exterior decorations made by Sol LeWitt are particularly successful, but the Interior has its charms. Of this work were consumed rivers of ink, as is often the case for artworks of can like it or not but there is no doubt that has become unequivocally one of the new symbols of the Langhe. Recommend a visit, preferably with a nice walk (Please note you need a minimum of training) among wonderful vineyards, starting from La Morra. The site is still accessible by car.

  • A CURIOUS LANDMARK IN THE LANGHE AREA. I COULD FIRST OBSERVE THIS COLORFUL CAPELLA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILLS AND WINEYARDS FROM THE PANORAMIC POINTS OF LA MORRA. I THEN DROVE TO IT. REALLY ORIGINAL.
  • Bellissima vista in mezzo alle vigne ....
  • After having seen only in photos finally yesterday I could see it live, gorgeous. By the way I also got a nice surprise, because I thought you could only see the outside, I was leaning against the door to take a picture and the door opened, revealing the interior decorations. Beautiful, beautiful beautiful! :)

  • Beautiful chapel. Particular and original. Excellent location with a breathtaking view. Too bad that when we passed us was under renovation.
