  • A CURIOUS LANDMARK IN THE LANGHE AREA. I COULD FIRST OBSERVE THIS COLORFUL CAPELLA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILLS AND WINEYARDS FROM THE PANORAMIC POINTS OF LA MORRA. I THEN DROVE TO IT. REALLY ORIGINAL.
  • Thanks again for your help
  • The chapel of the Barolo was built in 1914 to rally the people who worked in the surrounding vineyards. Over time, is no longer popular and the chapel has basically collapsed. The meeting between the company and the English artist David Tremlett, a great lover of wine arrived in the Langhe in 1997, to set up an art exhibition at the castle of Barolo, triggered the spark. The artist liked the idea of recovering the structure, with the involvement of the American friend Sol LeWitt. The two artists are divided equitably the responsibilities: to Tremlett interior decorations, while outside intervention to LeWitt.
