My name is Gianpiero Marrone and I am a wine producer of La Morra where I manage the company founded by my father Carlo and by my grand father Pietro. Today, after having obtained their university degrees, my three young daughters joined the business bringing their new competencies but above all their great enthusiasm. Our wine producing activity takes place in part in Madonna di Como, a village near to Treiso at the Cascina Carlot (18 hectars agricultural mansion which has been owned by my family for 4 generations) and in part in Frazione Annunziata at the ageing cellar.

  • I received as a gift a gift box Smartbox and contacted by telephone the farm I must say that I can't get to my call to cancel. Unfortunately they booked me for 12.00. Langhe have always found great hospitality and education. I'm sorry that the attitude of the company with the Smartbox is really bad. I'll go tomorrow there to eat. It was a way to make themselves known. I hope that the treatment isn't like that. Thank you

  • Hello friends, today I review a cellar in the Langhe I've known as only wine producer and a hangout as speciality restaurant "Langhe"! From tastings on tables flat now I'm in a room with generous Windows which offer us a wonderful view of the hills full of vineyards that distinguish these lands. The welcome is as warm and always puts you at ease to hear part of the Brown family, a family of old school where the friendship and the desire to offer the fruit of their work is the energy that drives them to improve day by day. Clearly the best are their wines, which combined with the traditional foods exalt the goodness and wholesomeness that lovingly Carroll, the head of the family, produces them. Lunch or wine tasting, as modernly called, took place in the cellar restaurant upstairs. As in the best of the proposed meal habits was: a Zucchini Flan with cheese as an appetizer, accompanied by white wine, Tajarin as first course, combined with some good Barbera d'Alba and a round of cheese as a second, where Barolo surged Chair. As luck would have it passed by them a truffle Hunter, from whom I purchased two white truffles from Alba, who have given a touch of additional energy to their dishes, the taste that only in the Langhe you can try. To finish the classic Bonet, sweet local, which seals a full meal and very genuine, with their Muscat of the Langhe, which for me is the best that exists on Earth! Finally, a shot of Brandy barrel aged Barolo, is like the icing on a cake called tradition, hospitality and good food, at a banquet for people with smile always on his lips! In conclusion it is like touching the sky with a finger, and it's not just an understatement! Good continuation, in the cellar with The Brown family.

  • We did visit yesterday in this structure, where the reception was great, and the service no less! Very nice location, beautiful landscaping, with contiguous terrace and wanting even more! Managed by young and competent, a great tasting, with seven wines with dishes too! Money at the top, with a choice of booking the type of menu. Super recommended!! Group of Rapallo
