The story goes that it is an ancient washhouse of the 13th century, the legend depicted by catches of demons, mascheroni Scrum alternating depictions of monks who defeated them that alternate seamlessly, the irregular layout of the square seems to be linked to the plant form of Jerusalem, the number 99, magic for the city would want each district forming the city of Aquila apponesse its own mask. In short, a monument to see, especially now that it's been restored to its former glory after refurbishment after an earthquake

  • The water flows is not drinkable but the place is lovely. originally a Creek from rock and decorated with natural colours of stones. A small casket in a very pleasant Creek. Should visit, sooner or later, the Basilica of Collemaggio. In contrast to this beauty, just uphill you can see many buildings still destroyed by the earthquake six years ago. Visited October 2015
