  • How nice to see you new life after the tragic earthquake of 2009. The Baroque façade brought back is of great and impressive impact. The Interior is rich and majestic, wide open spaces that seem to take your breath away visitors. In a corner of the basilica there lie the remains of Bernardino of Siena, who just died in L'Aquila. The Catholic Church remembers him as a Saint.

  • The Basilica of San Bernardino is, according to my personal judgment, one of the most beautiful views ever. Back to the millequsttrocento, in honor of the Saint from which it took its name. Very beautiful Baroque façade, while the inside, leaves you speechless. The Church is located in the historic city centre. Worth visiting.

  • San Bernardino is located in the Centre of the city and is very beautiful and also inside from the outside. The style of all the churches in L'Aquila is similar to equal, therefore you can look at just one and for this I recommend this! I especially liked the Interior.

  • A church in another era, gorgeous. Many stop to observe only the upper part to the altar but the nave is a wonderful glorify a sacred art that is beautiful. Sometimes being able to raise his eyes to heaven is a beautiful gift. Raise not only inside, even the outside, the façade is stunning in its architecture, impressive but not heavy, a staircase leads you to the entrance and the effort worth it. Visited October 2015
