  • Impressive façade, beautiful post-earthquake restoration. A symbol of hope and rebirth. The Eagle!

  • I had seen her in 2009 with the dome collapsed. She came back as and even more beautiful than before. On 13 December and closed the Holy door since that of the Abbey of Collemaggio (the oldest in the world) is not accessible. Strange coincidence. The façade was completed in 1542 by Nicola Filotesio, known as Cola dell'Amatrice. An earthquake that would have had to do many centuries later.

  • A church in another era, gorgeous. Many stop to observe only the upper part to the altar but the nave is a wonderful glorify a sacred art that is beautiful. Sometimes being able to raise his eyes to heaven is a beautiful gift. Raise not only inside, even the outside, the façade is stunning in its architecture, impressive but not heavy, a staircase leads you to the entrance and the effort worth it. Visited October 2015
