  • Belonged for centuries to the Challant family, the Castle preserves the characteristics of a refined and elegant mansion of the late 15th century. Towards the end of 1800 the building was purchased by the Turin painter Vittorio Avondo who, with a careful restoration, returned to the Manor on its splendor. Issogne castle looks today with some elements of the original furniture and other furnishings reproduced faithfully. The guided tour lasts about an hour and never fails to Captivate visitors with its stunning surroundings, the history, and the precious furniture. Special thanks to the guide that, with detailed insight and accurate historical references, has enabled us to appreciate the best way possible. Not to be missed!

  • Really nice, it doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside it seems to enter another world. The wealth of decorations in excellent condition and the presence of a large part of the original furnishings are definitely worth visiting, the friendliness and competence of the escort was given an extra touch that made the visit even more enjoyable

  • If from outside the castle of Issogne seems to be the most bland and simple of the Val d'Aosta, don't be fooled! Internally and without doubt the best Castle I've visited in that area. The guides are available and prepared and the price and modest and much facilitated. Great experience

  • Interesting, well preserved, unexpected, you wouldn't know it from the outside. Nice guide, spontaneous! To visit!

  • More than the classic Castle, looks like a Palace, with its inner courtyard and the beautiful lawn outside, inside an interesting though bare of furniture.

  • Very nice Castle and very particular, it was not a castle devoted to defense, but um Castle residence, surely a valid place to visit. The guide that takes you around the castle is valid and with emotions

  • Great guide, very informed. I can't compare with other castles in the surroundings because I didn't go, but having little time we chose this castle because is the one with the most decorated interior. Worth to visit, well worth the 5 eu entry absolutely.
