  • Perhaps the most striking and unique monument of Ispica. I dare say his artistic symbol, competing with palazzo Bruno di Belmonte. This semicircular Exedra which closes the square of the equally magnificent Church of Santa Maria Maggiore is a masterpiece designed by architect Vincenzo Sinatra in Rococo style. Openings are kept sacred objects from s. Maria Maggiore, used during religious festivals. Masterpiece not to be missed, as well as a set of "Paper Moon" of the tv series Il Commissario Montalbano!!
