  • Interesting history of the house and inhabitants who owned and developed the tonnara and other industries. Mostly in Italian.
  • It's a beautiful place. Looks like the Marsala museum. The lady who served us is very nice. They usually organize guided tours where they tell the whole story of how Marsala was born and how the Florio family became the symbol of this precious wine. We bought some fine bottles and also beautiful aesthetically.

  • A dive into the history of the island! It's worth a walk to the Florio Palace. Former holiday home of the ex-masters of the whole island and beyond. The photos, the footage projected inside and a dash of imagination will project you into an era that is now past that seems to relive in this now bare but sumptuous palace.

  • Very beautiful and imposing palace, overlooking the port of Favignana. Inside there are some archaeological finds and upstairs a lim shows a very interesting documentary about the history of the Florio family. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden, where you can cool off in the hottest moments of the day.
