  • Visited in the evening with guided very useful, a swim in the island's industrial past, not only in the aspects of tuna. Staff helpful and knowledgeable, able to turn independently, we hope that they can renovate the remainder of this great establishment. Very nice area where you can hear the testimonies of the people who worked there. There was also a nice photo exhibition on places.

  • You arrive on the island of Favignana it started to rain so with bicycles rental prey we go subito.in visit to the former tonnara ... the entrance fee is cheap and young guides organize very interesting sightseeing. In our driving path we also met a former employee of the former tonnara who told us very interesting pieces of his working life. There is also a multimedia exhibition where images are projected by several people who worked in the trap and tell how it worked the working life ... you stand in front of the character and the novel begins ... really impressive!

  • We attended the evening visit before dinner. Striking the atmosphere at sunset, I suggest to always bring a shirt a how often there is a lot of wind and the visit takes place mostly outdoors. A round of applause to our guide Francesca, the daughter of a former worker of the trap that was able to transmit the "lived" in addition to the simple basics. A piece of the island's history, must see.

  • Nice museum to see how the Tuna industry worked for years... But personally im happy the Mattanza is over...
  • The plant tour Florio was a great surprise: the structure is metaphysics. The friendly guide Francesca, has the ability to enchant visitors with accurate explanations, provoking an atmosphere of pathos that attracts the attention of everyone. Trim levels are fantastic. Very interesting on the tube Light, disturbing and struck the parade of speakers panels, each with an elderly worker who narrates his own story! From all the devotion for the Florio family that has done so much for the island. Not to be missed!

  • Exciting experience especially for our children who were very impressed with the whole process of tuna processing! Finally a big thank you to all the staff for having recovered the camera during the visit we had forgotten. A great appreciation for fairness and professionalism. Will definitely be back!!! Best wishes from the crew of the sailing yacht donna rosa!

  • Inside the plant Florio, besides knowing the secrets of tuna fishing, canning preparation, you see, clear and manifest, the magnificence of the Florio family. The facility is well maintained and equipped with guided tours in the company of guardian she places, former employee Florio, who, in typical Sicilian and complexion, tells anecdotes and stories of times gone by.
