Explore beaches, a hilltop castle, and villages on Giglio Island. After taking a ferry into the bay where the infamous Costa Concordia cruise ship ran aground in 2012, continue on to wander the village of Giglio Porto, or take a bus up to the fortress at Giglio Castello, or further on to the resort town of Giglio Campese. Find yourself on one of the many sandy beaches, dive beneath the sea, or go hiking through the natural and mountainous interior. Giglio Island is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Isola Del Giglio Edition.

We took a walk down to the beach of cannelle, early in the morning it was almost empty, beautiful. Then at about 11 walked away not to be stepped on or covered by the towel of new arrivals which continued to get in microposti. In August there is some crowding, and say that we were told that there was not a lot of people that day. Then we went with the coach in Giglio castello, very cute the ride, especially for the views that can be seen from the top of Giglio, and the alleys of the village. What to do during the day is pricey as round, between ferry and everything else, but certainly do here some days it's certainly worth it.show original
