  • Beautiful Palace, very nice Grotto, lined with pebbles. A charming park with white peacocks, wonderful views of the Lake, Stresa, Pescatori island.

  • There are no words to describe this wonderful place. Princely dwelling rooms are decorated and furnished with sumptuous objects. Of particular interest are the throne room; the music room; the Gallery of tapestries that exposes stunning Flemish tapestries with scenes of animals symbolizing the struggle between good and evil; the Gallery of Paintings (or General Berthier), where they keep the collection of paintings of the family; the rooms; the Hall of honour; the chapel with burial monuments of the characters. Beautiful rooms!!! Underground halls have been converted into artificial caves with tuff walls inlaid with marbles and seashells and is collected even prehistoric archaeological remains of the Golasecca culture. We also see the magnificent garden with an incredible variety of exotic plants, even here the peacocks stroll unmolested. The garden is divided into ten sloping terraces on the Lake, adorned with statues and fountains; the last sun rises on theater, spectacular stone building crowned by a Unicorn, the Borromeo coat of arms. Beautiful!!! You have a nice view of the Lake. There is a coffee shop, but it is messy: lacked the water bottles and bar prices a bit above average.
