  • In Sydney for the first time after reading the books of Ferrante partially set on this beautiful island. Walking with my wife on the shoreline of Maronti-literally "pieds dans l'eau"-it seemed to relive the story of Helen and Lila. Take Bus N° 5 from Ischia Porto and drift slowly from side to side of the island. Get off at the extreme East of beach, take off your shoes and get in front of you 2 Km of sand, Sun, wind and why not!! also stop and get something to eat at one of the restaurants on the beach. At the western end you can take the Bus that are continuously around the island. My advice is to take it very slowly and relax. Ischia is a great island to live and enjoy slow!!
