  • We have come to pretty much just to visit this famous villa Imperia; It is an art nouveau House with Gothic and calls a "dusting" poetic license desired by its creator, the Swiss clown Grock Charles Adrien Wettach aka. Already passing the entrance gate we understand you have stepped into a different world; the park reflects the typical vegetal heritage of historic gardens of the Riviera but the walkways, pillars, arches, unique decorations, fountains, and the pond with his jumper form the completion of a charming fairy tale scenery. All together contribute to urge visitors not only curiosity, but also great interest. Entering the villa some might even try, if he had children young enough, a sense of disappointment; the rooms are devoid of original furnishings and have been turned into a ..... " Circus. " The villa as a whole has become a playful, magical place, child friendly, perfectly in line with the thought of that "big kid" called Grock. Ideal for families with young children. But, a word of advice that applies to everyone, once in your life you just have to see it!

  • Beautiful. Monday 31 October visited villa Grock and were fortunate to find a volunteer of the FAI, which not only make us visit the terrace is not always accessible, tells the story of the great clown and many related news to the villa and the City Garden is a little shabby but soon should start work. . Not to be missed.

  • To visit if you're in Imperia. Very particular. Nice experience. A treasure to be preserved. Should be more responsible for the garden, but perhaps the season isn't ideal.

  • The villa is nice but needs an urgent renovation
  • Unfortunately the villa is in a State of (hopefully temporary) degradation. It would be an awesome venue for corporate events or as a simple Park open to the public.

  • An incredible villa, backed by the largest and most famous Clown degli anni ' 20-50. Now serves as a kind of Museum of the art of clowning, with interactive rooms. Very interesting.
