  • The mine is now idle for long but the site retains a charm romantically decadent and neighboring village, with its rationalist architecture recalls the many ideal cities of Foundation of the Fascist era. Unfortunately the industrial archaeological site is inaccessible and is left pretty much in ruins although the Tourist Office of Iglesias and society Igea organize guided tours, for which one must ask in advance days and visiting hours. Like all mining areas of the iglesiente in need of enhancement and safety measures. However impressive from outside the gates.

  • Additions on this site, passing through lush vegetation and then find yourself suddenly slammed on the set of a film that tells of the assault and destruction of Stalingrad. Then you find out that this was one of the most important mines in Europe and its history began in the second half of the 19th century. A truly unique place.

  • The site would also be nice, definitely there are many interesting things to see, hear, visit. Too bad it's all adrift at the mercy of vandals who can enter without being disturbed. Would be a source of tourism for a depressed area and (almost) forgotten by the institutions.

  • Love this place. It has a lot of history
  • No chance to visit it as closed despite the busy season. How sad!
