Per la prima volta ho provato ad avventurarmi sul sasso della Croce, dopo che ci era stato spiegato da un gentile volontario che il percorso era di tutta sicurezza. Si deve firmare una liberatoria, ma... more »For the first time I tried to venture on the rock of the cross, after we had been explained by a kindly volunteer that the route was safe. You have to sign a waiver, but are told that the route is accessible to all. Both me that my friend is not felt to be so sure make the path without the supervision of someone. Climbing to the first part of the rock consists of steps cut into the rock and the steps of ferrata are far enough apart from each other. Not feeling calm, I decided not to salirli. Let me start by saying that I'm not a different person, but I have walked very hilly mountain trails and did a longest via ferrata in the sanctuary of Vicoforte, province of Cuneo. On that occasion it was, though, with helmet, secured with a hookup and supervised by an attendant. The natural environment of the Park of Sassi is agreeable and trails vary in length and difficulty. Jarring in the context the look of the restaurant which overlooks the Sassi, whose concrete shape, creates a strong contrast with the stone buildings that are in harmony with the environment.

Definitely nature is King in this place and the climb on the stones is worth much more than 3 euros asked for it: the scenery is breathtaking and you do everything with the utmost security. Add a note on: the kindness and passion of volunteers who dedicate their time to promote these places. Once you get off there is a small paradise waiting to eat the body (heart, mind and soul were fed by nature) and is called blast furnace, a particular place on which I don't want to say nothing, of course Agnes will welcome you in the best way ...

We start from Rocca Alta and continue towards the Riverside Mill, then as a last stretch keep us Pieve di Trebbio and the rock Below.
