  • the park encompasses a territory very suggestive, very scenic walks in a setting midway between the mountain and the hills that give it a special charm at the same time large but cosy. the visit to the stones is very pretty, a short even if intense hike but approachable by almost everyone; access is subject to charges and the welcome is on time and very courteous, the small effort guarantees stunning views to the Plains, though in fact the territory is full of signs on the trails aren't especially clear things to say the heart of the Park, precisely the stones, are not indicated unambiguously and clearly highlighted, but a path like everyone else , the same can be said for the various maps that are located in parking lots; Finally the Visitor Center closed on a public holiday with the line of people who leave bitter certainly isn't a good omen for the visita...ma of the rest are still in Italy;-(

  • There are several hiking and biking routes. All paths are well marked and kept clean. Region, surrounded by greenery, clear your mind and listen to and observe what surrounds you, animals, plants and even ruins of yesteryear. Don't forget the sasso della croce, suitable location almost at all although in some places may not be for some challenging, but worth it. At the top, if the weather is clear you have the overview of all that stretches from the foothills Veronesi till all the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, Cimone and Corno alle scale. For those who like nature, green and beautiful scenery is definitely a place to visit.

  • I'm back from a wonderful walking tour around the Sassi di Roccamalatina: from Pieve di Trebbio we went from Rocca di Sotto, Rocca di Sopra, Riverside Mill, mill of San Apollinare and finally Vallecchie, eventually returning to the parish church of Trebbio. It took a few hours but it was worth it, both for the spectacular and changeable panorama of Sassi, both for the fall colors. The path is very interesting even under a historical profile because there are various cultural emergencies of the middle ages (partly unfortunately altered). To tour I've described, you should bring a Map 1/10,000 at the Park Headquarters.

  • The Google Maps service is a joke. Facing the Park of Sassi di Rocca Malatina opened this afternoon, Wednesday. Days and hours of operation are completely wrong. It is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, and only until the end of October. After a wasted trip (among other things, it is almost impossible to find signs) will never go there again.

  • Park with characteristics that are very different, well-signposted paths, interesting flora and fauna and wonderful view from the terrace that is at the end of the road that comes from country Rocca Malatina. Must see!

  • A little slice of heaven. History, nature, beauty and silence. Churches and villages restored and well kept. Trails marked perfectly and explanatory signs with historical information, geological, geographic. Recommended primarrà and fall

  • The breathtaking view from the shower is truly not to be missed. The fee (3 euros) and includes admission to the Museum of Pieve di trebbio, a 15-minute walk from the stones. You should also visit the Church and the Tavern at the foot of the sassi
