It is not an easy path, at least in part. The first part is easy. Overall it's spectacular species arrive at the waterfall.

The path is not easy, especially for those of us who is not trained. Sometimes easy alternate paths along steep slopes and crags. Absolutely hiking shoes. I with the sneakers clearly slipped on gravel.

From Bocca di Valle, after visiting the shrine to the fallen (suggestive) and drank and filled the bottles to great favour for this beautiful path (signposted CAI as F2) which leads to 1080 m altitude at Saint John. The journey takes approximately 1.30 h and is of medium difficulty easy. So too can the children as long as they know how to walk in the mountains and resist a bit of a climb. The trail is very shady and the first part is easy and can fool but then fairly steep climb into the forest part leading to the waterfall after a hour or so plentiful. The waterfall is wonderful and you can also put your feet in the cool water but with a lot of respect for frogs and salamanders that are numerous in the Cascades. There are some variants delivered to trail but careful to follow official trails ONLY because you are driving along a canyon which in some places is very high and steep. Although National Park area there were many dogs in tow. The sticks or mountain shoes will be very useful on the downhill. A beautiful day in the mountains and I highly recommend it. Luigi

  • Simple path (except a couple of strokes of approximately 10 minutes) that go along nicely in 1.30 h (forward). The waterfall is very beautiful and in summer the dust on the face is a delight

  • Leisurely, recommended in the morning because less cold than in the afternoon. You can pass under the waterfall half way through a side path.

  • Path in the Woods. Average difficulty. Little scenic but very enjoyable.
