  • I often go to the sea in that area but one day we decided to hop in the country ... was a welcome surprise because this village is very beautiful and full of history as this gateway to historic downtown ... should be much longer than advertised. PS. the view from above is breathtaking.

  • To access the historic centre of Guardia Piemontese must cross the door of Waldensian origin blood. Interesting and moving my meeting with an elder who with tears in my eyes I narrated the history of the country and its war. Here it seems that everyone living outside of time, living to old memories and the beauty of their country. Beautiful streets and street names are written in two languages, the Museum is not open I couldn't see it. Beautiful and spectacular the panorama from here, the green hills that gets lost in the blue of the sea, infinite beauty. ..

  • The gate of Blood is the main gate, of medieval origin, in the historical centre of Guardia Piemontese, a small town full of history which intersects the legend. Medieval Waldensian colony was a massacre by the Inquisition. Linguistic minority today.

  • Impressive testimony of barbaric executions by the Catholic Church, just because these people had a different belief.
