  • Small though it is this Museum, we remember that the country has 2500 souls, is very valuable for both the exhibits that come from the area both for the setting that they wanted to give the museum tour. Beautiful reconstruction of Chamber tomb with sarcophagus and furnishings. Beautiful Palazzo del Vignola in here is hosted and its famous spiral staircase. Beautiful invironment result of extensions under the Dominion of the Farnese family in the area has elected beautiful castles and palaces. Don't miss the "necropolis of pianezze" with a view to the tombs in the Etruscan House.

  • Small museum, well cared for, friendly operators, well exposed, primarily Etruscan. With the price of admission, much content, you are entitled to visit the nearby necropolis of Pianezze. Da consigliare!!

  • The Museum is accessible inside a beautiful Renaissance building of the architect Jacopo Barozzi, known as the Vignola.Il exhibition focuses on the Customs and traditions of the Etruscans. In the first room you will find "the masculine and the feminine" in Etruscan. Through the objects in the Windows you will know better the uses of women in spinning and weaving and how to dress and adorn themselves. Etruscan are weapons for man that enhance and reveal his Warrior instincts. In the next room you will find aspects of everyday life that allow you to look in the pantry of the Etruscan people to have a good knowledge of food uses of this people. Then you will find another room called "the signs of power" where it shows the signs of pomp and luxury, even through the rite of banquets. On the ground floor you enter the world of the afterlife. Funeral reconstructions allow you to have enough social status of the deceased and also about sex through objects that were placed inside the Tomb. Altogether this museum allows through although short route to gather good information in knowledge on the Etruscans. Museum ticket which costs 4 euro (reduced € 2) comes to visit the necropolis of Pianezze which in my opinion is is positive from the point of view of knowledge but not very accessible to women with shoes with heels and not accessible to people with disabilities.
