Grottammare Borgo Antico is the old part of Grottammare, a town overlooking the Adriatic Sea surrounded by pines, orange groves, and palm trees. The old town of Grottammare is set dramatically against the surrounding greenery, crystal-clear water, and golden sand. These elements have earned the town a "Blue Flag" from the Foundation for Environmental Education in Europe, and the historical part was named among "the fairest small villages in Italy." Nestled between sea and hills are a number of noteworthy churches, palaces, and museums. Propably the best meal I've ever had. Personnel at work could barely speak english when I was there, so someone with italian language skills might guarantee a great experience.
