Grottammare Borgo Antico is the old part of Grottammare, a town overlooking the Adriatic Sea surrounded by pines, orange groves, and palm trees. The old town of Grottammare is set dramatically against the surrounding greenery, crystal-clear water, and golden sand. These elements have earned the town a "Blue Flag" from the Foundation for Environmental Education in Europe, and the historical part was named among "the fairest small villages in Italy." Nestled between sea and hills are a number of noteworthy churches, palaces, and museums. • The view is wonderful. You can get to a parking lot (free) and from there follows walking through the small streets and alleys. All very nice. I recommend going in the summer where there is daily presentations, but going in the fall or in the spring also compensates for the view is really beautiful!

  • To get there, the whole village must go through first. When you arrive it is very impressed by the vision and setting up on a small stone terrace. Very romantic. Trevor Chefina welcomes your guests. Her husband is the chef de cuisine. Very fine food with local ingredients, as well as the spicy Chili from the terrace garden, which is served with a small pair of scissors and plowed on request. The Taglatelle with Vongole was an absolute knockout. Being the Chief one put on it: Vongole. Mussels and shrimps: very natural. Hardly any sauce it and the flavors were still extremely present. I nice found presented the trio dessert, but there was a tick too much sugar in it. The trio made too sweet and heavy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Lovely terrace!

  • To see!! Accessible by train from the seafront of Grottammare is worth visiting if only for the view it offers.

  • Propably the best meal I've ever had. Personnel at work could barely speak english when I was there, so someone with italian language skills might guarantee a great experience.
  • Dined at a table against a wall in a corner barely suitable for a plant. Dinner: salty (in the sense of salt)
