  • Beautiful square, remarkable architecture. To sit and stay to watch from anywhere where you can enjoy the 180 degree panorama on buildings

  • My trip to Grosseto happened many years ago, started in 1981 exactly, then repeated several times and, since 1988, the city has become my place of residence. The tranquility and simplicity of a country, with all the prerogatives of a capital city of the province. Over the years, the square was completely renovated, restoring the Majesty and look of the past, when it was called the "Plaza of the chains", a name derived from the presence of these artifacts to the outline of the square itself. Today the piazaa covers this aspect again, that had lost for a long time with the lack of chains and even free access of vehicles to the historic city centre.

  • On Piazza Dante, the heart of Grosseto, overlook is the main religious building of the city, the Cathedral, which the civil one, Palazzo Comunale. It's definitely a place to be admired, as well as the many squares of our beautiful city of Tuscany, that our ancestors have left us in legacy.
