  • Important town of Roselle with cyclopean walls in perfect condition, abandoned in much later times to the Roman conquest and so many homes have not seen subsequent buildings above, amble aloft in a commanding position overlooking the plain where at the time was the Prile Lake.

  • Roselle archaeological site, located a few km from Grosseto, is a major area of historical interest. Visited some Etruscan and Roman tombs on the road that leads to the remains of the ancient city. The area where once stood the ancient city of Roselle is situated in a beautiful place full of water. Recommend a visit to the importance of the site.

  • Arrived at this place and started to follow it far and wide we realized how a visit was necessary. Among the remains of the Roman era resurface during the excavations also vestiges of Etruscan; magnificent amphitheatre and really nice also the path of return along the old walls of Etruscan times. Excellent descriptions of the various sites on highly detailed panels. A bonus also is the one arising from the possibility to do accompany by our four-legged friends ... family is not from all sites such availability.
