  • Very beautiful place, the shrine of Greccio and nativity scene museum, one of a kind in Europe. If you visit around Christmas you have the chance to see the biggest in Europe and oldest live nativity scene in the world!
  • Shrine location overlooking a valley. Loving the hospitality offered by the friars. A place full of spirituality and quite. The view is a must for those who want to delve into the true meaning of the Nativity of our Lord.

  • Visited on Epiphany 2016. Fantastic place of pilgrimage, nestled in a mountain nature of undeniable charm. Here St. Francis created the first Italian Nativity scene. We recommend a visit of at least half a day. There are several things, including a permanent exhibition of Nativity scenes from around the world.
