  • Beautiful church, imposing and majestic. Overlooks a Plaza and raising his eyes, stands in all its glory the castle of Gorizia. Really atmospheric.

  • The Jesuit church of Gorizia was built in the second half of the seventeenth century. The façade, completed only in the next century, presents the statues of Saint Ignatius, Saint John the Baptist and Saint Joseph in three niches, located above the three portals of entry. Features the two bell towers topped by two onion domes. The Interior has a single nave is Baroque: preserves interesting eighteenth-century side altars and a beautiful fresco depicting the glory of St Ignatius, opera by Christoph Tausch.

  • Has a typical Baroque imprint, well maintained, with nave and an altar "singular" with 4 statues towering (Stanislaus Kostka, Francesco Borgia right and Francis Xavier and Aloysius Gonzaga) by Pasquale Lazzarini. Worth a visit
