  • Earliest settlement of the Greeks, the very foundations of the city wall are still standing. Lemon and orange trees with views of Mount Etna, coupled with Ausgrabungssätten. Nice walk.

  • On a trip in June with a group of disabled, I watched with interest this site, very nice, handled well, with great expertise, I highly recommend visiting

  • A small site but kept really bad. The first landing place of the Greeks in Sicily would deserve a more dignified Museum and an archaeological Park. A few directions and lots of tall grass that we can make a "treasure hunt"

  • It is so nice and dark with a great beach and when I was there I saw lava coming out of mt etna.
  • I don't think they can really charge you for visiting it
  • Totally ass, don't bother. Really not a great deal there nor worth the €4 in.
  • Maintained untidy, a few ruins scattered here and there, but nothing exciting. Abandoned shacks and jungle style weeds complete the work. To restore back to the glories of the past!

  • Four stars for the future, unfortunately the area is very large and we proceeded to dig deeper in some areas that haven't disappointed indeed revealed interesting information and facilities. Definitely with more funding and greater political interest you could find a really immense archaeological area highly populated the visit still is recommended for those in the area of access and the presence of a modest Museum with interesting exhibits
