  • You can ...dann in there. €4 entrance, too much you should not expect a few excavated remains of the walls of the original first settlement of the town. Than walk okay, but really only for quite long time. ;-)

  • The archaeological "park" is actually empty and not well maintained, wile the museum is old and doesn't worth the visit. Pity, since it is one of the oldest greek towns in the island. Free entrance on...  more »
  • Worth a visit. You can get a good impression of the surprising spread of the old settlement. Slightly older guide had marred our expectations, so we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the excavations and to visit relics. The whole thing with a small but informative Museum is completed. You should be interested in archaeology but basically. There are impressive buildings not to see here. Nice would be, if the descriptions in german, but English is also okay.

  • It is so nice and dark with a great beach and when I was there I saw lava coming out of mt etna.
  • I don't think they can really charge you for visiting it
  • Totally ass, don't bother. Really not a great deal there nor worth the €4 in.
  • Maintained untidy, a few ruins scattered here and there, but nothing exciting. Abandoned shacks and jungle style weeds complete the work. To restore back to the glories of the past!

  • Four stars for the future, unfortunately the area is very large and we proceeded to dig deeper in some areas that haven't disappointed indeed revealed interesting information and facilities. Definitely with more funding and greater political interest you could find a really immense archaeological area highly populated the visit still is recommended for those in the area of access and the presence of a modest Museum with interesting exhibits
