  • By far the most beautiful country of Irpinia, Gesualdo offers cultural connections with different fields of art and has an impressive historical and cultural background. It gives its name to the noble House of Gesualdo, whose most illustrious exponent, Prince Charles, is unanimously considered a musical genius. In this manor dwelt for long period, establishing here its rich and sumptuous Court and componendovi the most intense madrigals, until you die. Follow the empty rooms means giving room for fantasy and imagine the Prince struggling with his harpsichord. Soon this scene can be enjoyed fully thanks to a futuristic augmented reality application developed on behalf of the Fondazione Carlo Gesualdo. The best days to visit the Castle are undoubtedly the spring, when the climate is incomparable, and industrial hygiene at various events organised by the local associations (early June or mid August).

  • A lovely Castle open to visitors on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (other days upon request) and for free. Partially renovated really leaves you speechless for both interiors and for the views that can be enjoyed. For those who were to stop in Irpinia, but also for the irpini themselves is a must see!

  • I visited the castle in a friend's wedding and I was speechless. From the outside it is very charming, very well preserved and the view is breath taking.
